Bring TPDM Candidate entity into core

We are interested in bringing the candidate model/entity currently used in TPDM into Ed-Fi Core.

Candidate is the equivalent of student in higher education spaces and is used to represent progress of a student enrolled in an Educator Preparation Provider (EPP) working their way toward a certification. This is one of the cornerstone pieces of TPDM and used for everything, including the TPDM Starter Kit's.

Candidate Model

Notable difference from student:

• Candidates are enrolled into a program not an education organization, thus many of demographic fields that are found on StudentEducationOrganizationAssociation are found directly on the Candidate entity, these include:

• Aid - This entity represents the financial aid a person is awarded.
• BackgroundCheck - Applicant background check history and disposition.
• EnglishLanguageExam - Indicates that a person passed, failed, or did not take an English Language assessment (e.g., TOEFFL).
• PreviousCareer - The career previous for an individual.
• ProgramComplete - An indication of whether a candidate has completed the educator preparation program.
• DegreeSpecialization - Information around the area(s) of specialization for an individual.
• FirstGenerationStudent - Indicator of whether individual is a first generation college student.
• EPPProgramDegree - Details of the degree the candidate is working toward.
• Application - The EPP application submitted by the accepted Candidate.
