Description
Some Student Information Systems allow the districts to create as many different calendars as required. These don’t fall inside regular vs. alternative example that you gave me, but here are examples of different calendar types.
The districts need to put students on different calendars for full and half day students so the ½ day students only get ½ ADA. Non-membership students would have a different calendar and not be included in ADA statistics.
A lot track their eligible vs. ineligible students on different calendars and OFSDP students on a different calendar.
If a student has to attend the county jail, that would be a different calendar where the dates are truly different.
I know some districts let some students out a week earlier than others. In this situations, different calendars would be used.
If a campus has both elementary and middle or middle and high school students, 2 different calendars could be in use too.
