Summary of outcomes for Data Standard 2.1

• Problem Addressed: The ProgramCharacteristicDescriptor has only one map type value that is of limited utility.
• High-level Reasoning: The only ProgramCharacteristicDescriptor map type value "A McKinney-Vento Program for Homelessness" is suspected to be irrelevant as a program characteristic.
• Changes Made: Remove ProgramCharacteristicMapType from the model and from the ProgramCharacteristicDescriptor; Add "Homeless" as enumeration value under ProgramType
