Summary of outcomes for Data Standard 2.1

• Problem Addressed: A new EducationOrganization subclass is needed that may be associated with programs.
• High-level Reasoning: Some programs (such as early learning programs) may be associated with community organizations that are not currently one of the existing EducationOrganization subclasses.
• Changes Made: Created CommunityOrganization and CommunityProvider domain entities (both based on EducationOrganization), as well as CommunityProviderLicense domain entity to track credentialing

Delaware ELI requirements have identified a use case for modeling a program organization independent of the Education Organization model. The Program Organization model needs to support Local Program Organization(s) with ability to indicate program facilities, staff, programs (including meeting details), as well associate attendees, cohorts, and assessments, in order to study the link between attendee’s program participation and his/her academic progress/success.
