Summary of outcomes for Data Standard 3.0

      • Problem Addressed: The AssessmentScore common type was previously omitted from the ObjectiveAssessment domain entity, making it impossible provide score metadata for an ObjectiveAssessment.
      • High-level Reasoning: By adding AssessmentScore common type to the ObjectiveAssessment entity as an optional collection, assessment score metadata may be provided for an ObjectiveAssessment, the same way it's provided for an Assessment.
      • Changes Made: Add a reference to the AssessmentScore common type as an optional collection on the ObjectiveAssessment entity.

      Original ticket description follows:
Assessment Metadata to capture AssessmentScores and AssessmentPerformanceLevels per reporting method. This allows the assessment vendor to determine the specifications of the possible score results and levels met per StudentAssessment. This information allows for the analysis and interpretation of the student outcomes based on the assessment specifications. As Seen in the UDM image the Assessment and StudentAssessment entity are correctly defined.

At the ObjectiveAssessment level the objective assessment metadata should also capture AssessmentScores and AssessmentPerformanceLevels per reporting method. This allows the assessment vendor to determine the specifications of the possible score results and levels met per StudentObjectiveAssessment. The UDM correctly models this for the metadata in ObjectiveAssessment for ObjectiveAssessmentPerformanceLevel to determine the specifications of the possible levels met per StudentAssessmentStudentObjectiveAssessmentPerformanceLevel.

As such ObjectiveAssessment should specify the possible scores results and allow the metadata specifications to be captured in ObjectiveAssessmentScoreResult. The model is allowing for the student score resultes to be capture at the objective level thru StudentAssessmentStudentObjectiveAssessmentScoreResult however without the missing ObjectiveAssessmentScoreResult the information that allows for the analysis and interpretation of the student outcomes based on the student objective score results is missing.

See linked diagram below for an annotated domain model indicating the gap.
