Data Standard v3.2.0-c
Description
I am currently working with Colorado rural through DoubleLine Partners and the vendor MasteryTrack on an initiative to get MasteryTrack to send data via the API that will be used for some visualizations powered from the ODS. During the discovery and mapping phase of this work, it was found that MasteryTrack only will send the studentObjectiveAssessment that relates to a learning standard with a performance level for the studentObjectiveAssessment.
The ObjectiveAssessment can be created without defining a score, but when posting the studentObjectiveAssessment in the studentAssessment, a score is required.
The early RFC 8 for assessment outcomes shows that the objectiveAssessment could be sent with scores and/or performance levels. There is even JSON examples on that page that show the objectiveAssessment and studentObjectiveAssessment with only performance levels. The data handbook also shows the scoresResults required on the studentObjectiveAssessment
The intent seems to have been to have objectiveAssessments and the resulting studentObjectiveAssessments have performanceLevels and/or scores, yet technically it is not possible. Based on the percieved intent and now with actual field work need, it seems that it needs to be corrected from the Data Standard through to the API
