    Description

Summary of outcomes for Data Standard 3.2

      • Problem Addressed: Two students are included in the sample data that do not have StudentSchoolAssociation enrollment records.
      • High-level Reasoning: These students cause the API to fail and do not assist in other use cases.
      • Changes Made: Removed the students and association records from the sample data set.

      Original ticket description follows:

Raising this as a question, since not sure if this was intentional or not. In the Grand Bend sample data in the Data Standard release since 2.0, there are two students that exist without any StudentSchoolAssociation records. These students are referenced from other sample data including two instances of StudentEducationOrganizationAssociation, 3 StudentHomelessProgramAssociation, 1 StudentSchoolFoodServiceProgramAssociation, and 2 StudentParentAssociation. As part of the ODS/API team transitioning to using the API for loading the sample data from server-side bulk, this became noticed due to security requiring a StudentSchoolAssociation to load through the API, while the old server-side approach didn't apply security and loaded those records anyways.

Is the lack of StudentSchoolAssociation for these students intentional? Or could the sample data be updated with StudentSchoolAssociation samples for these students to ensure all their data loads in successfully?

The students affected by this are student unique ids 555555 and 777777.
