Student Title I Part A Program Assoc - Services Descriptors

Summary of outcomes for Data Standard 3.2

• Problem Addressed: Need program-specific services for the StudentTitleIPartAProgramAssociation Service descriptor.
• High-level Reasoning: All federal programs that are subclasses of GeneralStudentProgramAssociation should have program-specific services defined. There are CEDS enumeration values that can act as a starting point for the Title I Part A program services.
• Changes Made: Created a TitleIPartAService descriptor for the StudentTitleIPartAProgramAssociation and deprecated the generic Service descriptor.

The Services Array in this resource use the general 'serviceDescriptors' which do not align to the services provided to students in Title I Part A Programs. This is a recommendation that a new Title I Part A Program Service Descriptors list be created that aligns to the CEDS codes:

Title I Instructional Services:
Reading/Language Arts
Mathematics
Science
Social Services
Career and Technical Education
Other

Title I Support Services:
Health, Dental and Eye Care
Supporting Guidance/Advocacy
Other

These can be combined into 1 services list or left separate. Not sure how important it is to define clearly if it is an Instructional or Support service for funding.
